Literature

This is the last of my three-legged stool: I briefly alluded to it in the last post. In addition to tutoring the three Rs + teaching Religion as a family, I also read aloud to the children. I used to read in the evenings. However, I find that the older I get that I just want to hang out with my husband in the evenings. So I read to the kids during the schoolday.

Since I do school 16 days a month (usually), if there is a day that I can't get all three parts to school done in one day, I break it up. So I may tutor on Monday and then do morning prayer and literature on Tuesday. Both days are a kind of flex day without giving up school entirely, and without falling behind too much.
