Change of Pace

I've always done tutoring with the kids one at a time -- when they were younger, they needed so much one on one, anyway -- and to shake things up, we would do "backwards school" where the order (youngest to oldest) would reverse (oldest to youngest).

This week we're going to try something different. Instead of doing all of these with one child at a time, we're going to try to get more work at the table done, together, and tackle school by subject instead of student.

Though writing may not be the the easiest to do in the early-afternoon doldrums, hopefully it will be easier with a full tummy.
